This realist painter spent long years in Gatetown practicing his craft with what supplies he could scrape together. His hard-won talent eventually attracted the attention of the free citizens of Eulmore, who granted him passage into the city—only to grow bored of his work's lack of aesthetic indulgences. The thirty-nine-year-old could doubtless have made a decent living for himself had he bent his principles, but remained dedicated to his style. After incurring the wrath of the Chais by producing a solidly realistic portrait of Dulia, Tristol found himself quite literally cast out of the city.
