With dedicated traders in her employ, she naturally ensures that the Boutique remains lucrative, but rates this of secondary importance to the good her business can do for the realm.

Mowen is founder and chairwoman of the Boutique of Splendors.
In the Splendorous Tools Quests, she develops both a business and romatic relationship with Grenoldt (Gerolt's shard on the First). The couple marries each other at the end of the quest chain, in contrast to the exploitative business relationship that Rowena has with Gerolt.
