All of Elpis's observational and testing records are archived at this facility, where they are stored in crystal. Its name, meaning "an unexpected twist," is believed to refer to the chaotic revelations contained within its orderly halls.

Metabaseos Thalassai

An annex to Ktisis Hyperboreia, this facility is mainly concerned with the observation and evaluation of sea life. Although its construction appears too narrow to support such an ambitious project, the building's interior harbors six separate marine habitats, each painstakingly re-created via arcane means.
