With strength enough to carry five crates at a time and the know-how of forty-five summers, Cassard is the ideal caravan leader, traversing diverse lands to breathe life into Norvrandt's ailing trade routes. Yet this cheery, good-humored Galdjent bears the weight of a grief he shows to none, as all the comrades with whom he began his mercantile aspirations have long since met their untimely ends.
