The retinue of trees surrounding this domicile—formerly a shepherd's abode—attracted the pixies' attention. One particularly curious faerie wondered what fruits or nuts the boughs might be hiding, but never returned from their gathering. It was around that same time that an odd beaver-like creature was spotted waddling about the premises.
The March of the Marchioness
The giant tree near the water's edge of Dohn Mheg is referred to as the marchioness. The pixies tell the story of a fierce Voeburtite general who fought against the eaters till the bitter end—and how they "gifted" her with a floral form as grand and beautiful as her spirit.

Your quest to gain entry to Lyhe Ghiah and vanquish the Lightwarden sealed within has brought you to the domain of the water-bound Fuath, bearers of one of the four fae relics that comprise the key to the castle.
