“No one can say with confidence when the Forgotten Knight first opened its doors. The tavern has been passed down from former knight to former knight, each who was said to have bled for his nation. In keeping with tradition, the new proprietor receives an heirloom from the old: an ancient rusted sword inscribed with the words, "Brothers brave and true, live well, forgotten and content."

The Forgotten Knight is a landmark in Foundation, Coerthas.
Additional Information
The Forgotten Knight is an Inn based in the Foundation area of Ishgard at (x13, y11). It houses:
- The Clan Hunt Board outside, where players can collect details of targets to slay in furtherance of
Centurio Seals; - Aytienne, an NPC just inside the upper entrance who gives players details of Rank B, Rank A and Rank S Clan Hunt marks;
- Sidurgu, the NPC who provides Dark Knights with their advancement quests once the initial stages of the job quest line have been completed;
- Bamponcet, the Innkeep of Cloud Nine through whom players can retire to an Inn room;
- Gibrillont, Proprietor of The Forgotten Knight who is involved as a contact in various quests. Also available as a Triple Triad contender.
- Ardolain, an NPC vendor who sells rewards for Centurio Seals;
- Adaillie, a merchant and mender.
