  • DT.png Patch 7.0 (2024-07-02): No longer changes to Salt and Darkness upon execution.
  • EW.png Patch 6.0 (2021-12-07):
    • Changed "Creates a patch of salted earth, dealing unaspected damage with a potency of 60 to any enemies who enter." to "Creates a patch of salted earth at your feet, dealing unaspected damage with a potency of 50 to any enemies who enter," i.e. the action changed from needing manual ground targeting to automatically placing the AoE at your current location.
    • Added "Action changes to Salt and Darkness upon execution."

Trivia

Salting the earth is the practice of spreading salt in the soil of conquered land to prevent crops from growing, and thus preventing the conquered from rebuilding.
