The high commander of the Radiant Host, Qulsun bihn Aphmau was a valiant warrior who fell whilst fighting the abominations of the Final Days. Coinciding as it did with that of satrap Ahewann, her death was left deliberately unannounced so as not to further torment an already distraught populace. As things stood, only a handful of veteran soldiers knew the truth of her demise, and so diligently did they manage the Radiant Host that the commander's absence went unnoticed for a time. An officer by the name of Shirabaht was one of these veterans, responsible for coordinating with Radz-at-Han's military allies. When the chaos lifted and the fires died down, knowledge of Qulsun's death was made public. Soldiers and civilians alike reacted with shock and grief, and the general was deeply mourned alongside countless other victims.
