Flavor Text
This technique originates with the living liquid, which coalesces about a hydrate core that allows it to dispense its own fluid in a violent flood. The magically reproduced version, correctly applied, is equally effective in sweeping away even the bulkiest of foes.

In Stage 29 of the Masked Carnivale, you can get Protean Wave not just from the boss, but also from the water column adds once they explode.
Other Tips
- This has a two-for-one effect in Stage 27 of Masked Carnivale, Lock up Your Snorters: It can not only damage the Magitek Explosive, it can also push away the bombs to keep it from exploding.
