Even a personage as exalted as the Sultan can be the object of ridicule, as observed in ages past when one of Ul'dah's monarchs mistook the name of a Lalafellin noblewoman. The sultan's detractors wasted no time in naming this fish after his gaffe, although there is much debate as to whose reputation was more damaged by this courtly intrigue─the sultan's, the woman's, or the fish's.
