Mascot Murder is a level 100 FATE spawned in Living Memory.

Prerequisites

In order to spawn this Boss FATE, 2 FATEs must be completed beforehand:

  • Flying is required to reach the FATE.

Mica the Magical Mu will not spawn if it is still on cooldown. If the FATE chain restarts from the beginning, then Mica is on cooldown.

If Mica is ready to spawn, this FATE will appear on the map within a few minutes after completing the second FATE in the chain, although it may occasionally take longer.

  • Deal: The boss partitions the arena into six rectangular sectors, each of which has a floating card with a number of acorns from 1-6. A few seconds later, the acorns will turn into question marks, and players will need to remember which number corresponded to which card.
  • Initial pattern:
  3   6
  2   5
  1   4
  • Draw: The boss will display multiple cards of the same number around itself, then display another set of cards with a different number.
  • Card Trick: Players must be standing on the sector corresponding to the numbered card that the boss drew first, or they will take high damage. Afterwards, players must move to the sector corresponding to the second numbered card that was drawn.
  • Flourishing Bow: Telegraphed point-blank AoE, immediately followed by an untelegraphed donut AoE.
  • Shimmerstrike: Telegraphed AoE tankbuster. Also spawns several baited circle AoEs on random players.
  • Double Misdirect: Three telegraphed conal AoEs, leaving gaps in between. Immediately follows up with three untelegraphed conal AoEs that hit the initial safe spots.
  • Spark of Imagination: Party-wide magical damage.
  • Bewitching Ball: The boss takes out a ball and jumps on it.
  • Rolling Starlight: Multiple line AoE telegraphs that appear and disappear, indicating the path where the boss will roll through.
  • Magical Hat: The boss summons multiple purple rings that form a line through the middle of the arena. Alternating rings will begin glowing, telegraphing line AoEs, followed by the other rings.
  • Round of Applause: A telegraphed donut AoE and three telegraphed conal AoEs, immediately followed by untelegraphed AoEs that hit the previous safe areas.
  • Deal / Draw / Card Trick are used later on but will have additional complications.
    • Possible later patterns:

    • The boss will now draw three cards.
    • Before resolving the first card, the boss will cast Shimmerstorm, baited circle AoEs on random players. Players are typically stacked on the first card tile and must move out quickly.
    • After the first Card Trick resolves, the boss will use Round of Applause again, which functions as before (minus the cones).
    • The boss then uses the second Card Trick, so players will need to find the second correct number.
    • The boss then uses Double Misdirect, followed by the third Card Trick.
  • Magical Hat is used again but now combined with either Double Misdirect or Round of Applause, so players must dodge more AoEs at once.
  • Mechanics repeat until the boss is defeated or the FATE times out.
